I made this smoothie with random stuff from the fridge…and blueberries I picked (stored in the freezer). I then tossed in my supplements. It’s a little on the tart side, but it’s pretty tasty.
This also gave me my first opportunity to use the extra wide straws I found at the grocey store. Have you ever tried to drink a smoothie with the narrow straws they usually sell?
For those who might be wondering, this smoothie was made with banana Kefer, frozen blueberries, a plant-based multivitamin (shame on you if you’re taking a synthetic multivitamin), a plant sterol supplement and an antioxidant supplement (also plant based).
I don’t really measure so I have no idea how much of anything when into the blender. As long as it all fits in the glass, I’m happy.
